My Reactions:
Do you like the cute pandas? Now, we don’t need to go for thousand miles to see them because Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan are coming. Their names mean reunion in Chinese, some people look these two presents from Beijing as the conspiracy which Mainland China wants to sovereignty over Taiwan.
However, I don’t think so. Actually, pandas are so precious that many developed countries want to buy or borrow from Beijing government. In fact, Japan desires the cute animal. Many decades ago, Mainland China had once sent them one as a gift for becoming friends. However, several years ago, the old panda died so the Japan government wanted to buy one from Beijing, even borrowed because the old panda helped them increase the income of the zoo. Unfortunately, China didn’t agree. There are still many countries want to borrow pandas from China like America, but they don’t agree. However, this time, they give them as present to us without any expense.
As the result, I think these two panda are definitely the good mention from Beijing government. Maybe they have many conspiracies, but at least they are using the most peace way to improve the relationship between two sides. I don’t have any political conscious of the issue. In my mind, I just glad that people can deal things with a harmony heart instead using violent and armed forces. (230 words)

US researchers found that those who have worse apnoea symptoms burned 373 extra calories a day. It seems great that those people don’t need to go on a diet or do exercise diligently and they can burn their calories easily. However, the symptoms can be a sign of a far more serious problem for the snorers. Sleep apnoea, in which the airways are partially or completely obstructed during sleep, stops the person getting a good night’s rest, making them very sleepy during the day.
Actually, I don’t have such problems so I can’t understand the pain they suffer. I have read the report that it say snorers are easily to get many diseases such as high blood pressure, cardiopathy, and etc. If you don’t take good care of your body, then the situation may become worse by smoking, being fat, using drugs, and inheriting. By the way, sleep ours is also significant to the problem, enough sleep time is very important to everyone no matter you are snorer or not.
We should take it more seriously, after all, it is the symptoms that found from our body and it definitely indicate some problem from our bodies. Two drug officials have concluded that there are at least four hugely popular Asthma drugs which may cause risk death. These drugs are usually used in asthmatic diseases. The research indicates that these ingredients should not be used by people age 17 and under.
There are many reasons why caused Asthma such as directly infected by parents, the weather, medicines, mental pressure, and so on. Even some of them will become allergic of some kind of foods and things. However, Advair, Symbicort, Serevent, and Foradil are the most effective drugs which are used prevalently to cure Asthma.
In today’s medicines, many of them are produced by Steroids and Antibiotics. As a result, they will cause burden to organs seriously but they are easy to use and have obviously effects when used to cure patients. Although these ingredients are useful, they also easy to harm our body and bring a lot of side effects. I think the technology is well developed and we can use it to discover new medicine or to make them by ourselves. It’s necessary to find a new way to provide little side-effect drugs for patients. Baby Faith remains seriously ill

My Reaction:
Image that if you have a twin sibling. You can do a lot of things together such as playing games, doing homework, and sharing everything what you have. However, if your twin sibling has shared a body with you, what kind of things would happen? In England, a young couple that the wife is only 18 year-old gave birth to their twin babies, Hope and Faith. Nevertheless, they were joined the same body from breastbone to the top of the navel and had a shared liver but separate hearts.
Actually, Hope was died because she was not strong enough to bear the operation, but she tried her best to keep her life continuing. Although Faith is still alive, she has to overcome many unknown challenges. Once, I have read something interesting about the twins that almost twins have metapsychosis. They will even be affected if the other one was dead. As a result, I think Faith perhaps can feel that she has lose something in her life but she will never know if her parents don’t tell her.
Another interesting phenomenon is that the mother of them is in a really young age. It indicates that the more and more adolescents have tried to sex when both their mental and body are not mature enough. I think one of the reasons is because of the opening social atmosphere. Maybe you will be teased because you haven’t had any sex experience in that age. Another one is that it is much more convenient and easier to get sex knowledge such as from the Internet and mass media. We have to be serious to the issue or it will definitely cause numerous social problems in the future. Dad raped daughters for 27 years

My Reaction:
I think many people have shocked by the news because of the crazy father’s behavior. He had raped his daughter who was made pregnant 19 times for 27 years. However, he didn’t feel guilty after he was taken into custody. In addition, he was also accused of imprisoning his mother in the attic in his house until she died.
Astonishingly, the mother had totally had no idea about her husband’s behavior and she believed that her daughter was lost outside. We have to look it very seriously that why our society has become like that? In fact, we can’t image that why those people’s values have changed and become so evil. In my opinion, no matter how angry you are or what do you been insulted, all of us should still respect others lives. There is no any reason can deprive of the authority of anyone’s life including our family, friends, and even strangers.
I think we have to learn how to get along with others with a considerate heart. It’s not a correct way to treat other people like that especially family. By educating our next generation, we can have more opportunities to make our life and atmosphere become innocent and unsophisticated. In the confused society, we should take more time to build up the right conception of our whole life. (241 words)

Everyone to get NT$3,600 bonus

My Reaction:
The economy crisis has influenced all over the world including Taiwan. Because of the low prosperity, the government decides to disturb NT$3,600 shopping vouchers to each of the nation citizens early next year. Now, there are many different opinions about the government’s new policy. Some people agree the policy because they think it will be a good way to spur the consumption. However, the others boycott it for they think the government should give people tax rebates or cash instead of wasting money to printing the coupons.
In my perspective, I think the Ma government is trying to save our economy but I disagree with using this way. First, where the money come from? Actually, the government’s money is ours because we pay the tax and they have money to do things for us. Second, we have to spend more money to print the shopping vouchers.
In other words, I admire the spirit that they want to improve our situation positively, but I think the policy is implemented hastily without deliberate consideration.
Maybe they can use the way to distribute the coupons that can discount the price. Thus, people will use the money in their pocket and it will definitely spur the low prosperity. However, the government’s policy will not stop and my advice is useless for them. In summary, it will be nice to me or other university students to have extra money without earning by ourselves. It seems the special “red envelop” gave from the government. (247words)

Dealing with death the Mexican way

My Reactions:
Are you afraid of death? If your answer is yes, then what are you afraid of? I think many people will answer that I haven’t made my dreams come true, I haven’t earned enough money, I haven’t enjoyed my life yet, etc. The image of death in Chinese culture is always disappointed and dreadful. Usually, black is the best color to describe the feeling in people’s heart.
However, in Latin America, especially in Mexico, they image death in a totally different way. They don’t fear dying but they don’t recommend, either. Interestingly, they think it offers opportunities and challenges. Therefore, they celebrate it to as a chance to pass into a afterlife, and they do some artefacts to show their thinking about death. They even have a museum to exhibit these artefacts.
In my opinion, I’m also afraid of the noun. It seems that everything is over in one second. As I am young, I haven’t done anything in my life yet. Maybe it’s the reason why I fear for thinking about that. On the other hand, death is not the end of my life because it is a necessary process that everyone will have.
